The ultimate solution to eliminate ticking noises from the rocker box area in Evolution Sportster, Evolution Big Twin and Twin Cam engines. If you hear a ticking noise from the rocker box area of your engine, which even becomes louder as the engine warms up, the cause may not only be faulty hydraulic lifters, worn valve guides, or worn rocker arm shaft bushings. It can also be due to excessive play in the rocker arm shaft seats within the rocker box. Until now, this issue could only be resolved by purchasing new lower rocker boxes. Once the rocker arm shaft seat has play (noticeable when the rocker arm shafts can be easily pushed into their seats), lateral forces from the rising pushrods cause the rocker arm shafts to rotate against the housing bolt with every stroke, resulting in a ticking noise. A solution is now available. A component developed by HD.M.G.I. permanently prevents this ticking noise. The modification can be carried out on motorcycles with original frames while the engine remains installed. For installation, only the rocker boxes need to be removed. Comes with detailed instructions and installation tool.
